Chronic Sinusitis

Chronic sinusitis is defined as persistent inflammation of the sinuses lasting more than 12 weeks. Symptoms may include nasal congestion, facial pressure, thick nasal drainage, headaches, post-nasal drip, reduced sense of smell, and recurrent sinus infections.

Allergies, asthma, immune dysfunction, and environmental exposures often play a significant role in chronic sinus inflammation. Without addressing these underlying factors, symptoms frequently recur despite repeated antibiotic or steroid use.

How Amerimmune Can Help

Amerimmune focuses on identifying and treating the drivers of chronic sinus inflammation rather than repeatedly treating infections alone. Our care may include:

  • Evaluation of allergic and immune contributors

  • Identification of environmental and inflammatory triggers

  • Long-term management strategies to reduce recurrence

  • Coordination of care when additional evaluation is needed

Our goal is sustained symptom improvement and reduced dependence on short-term medications.
