Oral Alpan, MD

Chief Medical Officer & Founder

He received his medical degree from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara, Turkey. Dr. Alpan continued his education with an internship and residency in Pediatrics at Stony Brook University in New York and a fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in Bethesda, Maryland. Board-certified in Allergy and Immunology, Dr. Alpan is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. He is a Principal Investigator on numerous research studies in the field of immunology asthma and allergic disorders, and he has published a number of articles and abstracts in peer-reviewed journals.

Ivan Santos

Chief Executive Officer

Ivan has over 30 years of experience in finance and operations. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Maryland and graduate work at Georgetown University and George Mason University. He worked in larger organizations at the beginning of his career, including Northrop Grumman and Accenture. Later, he transitioned to be the Chief Financial Officer for other organizations taking most of them through hyper-growth and custom exit strategies. Ivan has been with Amerimmune since 2016 developing it’s corporate structure and market offerings.

Raavi Gupta, MD, FASCP, FCAP

Laboratory Director

Dr. Gupta is an Academic Pathologist at State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. She completed her Pathology Residency at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA and fellowships in hematopathology and surgical pathology from Columbia University Medical Center and New York University Langone Medical Center in New York, NY respectively. She serves as a Director of Clinical Laboratories at Downstate at BayRidge, participates in undergraduate and graduate medical education, performs clinical and basic science research and is a Member of multiple institutional committees. She is an active Member of many national organizations and currently serves as a Secretary of New York Pathological Society.

Matt Plassmeyer, PhD

Laboratory Technical Director

Matthew Plassmeyer, PhD, graduated from George Mason University in 1998. He obtained his graduate training in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Pennsylvania examining viral neuropathogenesis, 2005. Following graduate school, he performed his doctoral training at the NIH with Dr. Louis Miller studying the mechanisms of malaria parasite invasion of erythrocytes. In 2006, under Dr. Miller, he managed the malaria antigen research section and was responsible for the small-scale production and investigation of new malaria antigen vaccine candidates. In 2010 he joined Polybatics, a small startup company in New Zealand that developed functional bioengineered polymer beads, as the project manager.
